Wow sunshine finally! We are a happy team here this week... with plenty of backlogged work being completed. Steve has left for Los Angeles today to view new cineflex video cameras and pick up a new one for our team! 

Meet Stephen!

Stephen Brookes is the MD of Airview Aerial Photography. Alongside Airview Photography, Stephen has also started sisters companies airview xtreme and airview aviation. Which are all part of the AIRVIEW GROUP 

Stephen is also a passionate musician/singer and father of three.....more on Steve to come!

Meet the team!

Mark Merton is one of our photographers who mainly carries out the interstate or overseas trips. He has travelled to Tasmania, North QLD, Fiji, Dubai, Doha, Western Australia and also local and interstate cities. With a very creative eye, Mark also captures some great 'Airview Art' shots on his flights, which can be seen on our website under Airview creative....also has some of his photography on flickr.

Mark is also a talented musician and composer..... thats only the beginning, more to come on Mark!

Weather!

What terrible weather we are enduring at the moment!  No flying, no shooting for us, which is frustrating for us all and we apologise for the delay.  While editing, graphics work and maintaining the website are at the top of the list of things to do at the office, we've also had to find a few ways to break the cabin fever that cloud and rain creates.  Activities include locking people out of the office and watch them figure out how to get back in, unplugging keyboards and mouses.. we're really crazy at the office as you can tell!

A fun technique that we have been playing with is OOB (out of bounds) method of editing.  This involves altering the dimensions of the frame to give the illusion that the subject is in 3D.  I'll post some up now.

airview has now entered the blogisphere!

We thought it would be a cool way to keep you up to date with what's going on day to day or week to week, at airview. airview aerial photography is a team of photographers who fly around hanging out of planes and helicopters getting the perfect shot. We are based in Sydney, but have photographers who travel around Australia regularly. We have also travelled abroad to UAE, Fiji, New Zealand and the USA. Along these journeys our team have captured some amazing imagery, which we thought we would share with you. 

We do have our own online stocklibrary at www.airviewonline.com.au but though this blog would be the perfect partner to our website to tell you a bit more about our trips and experiences in the air. So welcome and enjoy the view!
